Thier need was to develop a solution that would allow multiple payments processed on IBM AS/400. They required the solution to interact with the system for automated processing
The Challenge
There was an exisiting billing and payment processing system built on the IBM AS/400, they wanted us to develop a new system capable to allow multiple payment processers such as BBVA, Chase, Vantiv, First Data, etc. interact with the system and automate all the processing. The client expected the new system to consider the specifications of all the payment processor with respect to the country it is operating in, they wanted the system to handle scale and be extensible for other payment processots that can allow changes in the future.
The Solution
The team with the expertise in this domain at Rahvita Solutions had equipped the client with an Integrated Language Environment (ILE) RPG & CL programming solution using Transaction Processing Engine (TPE), This would allow customizing the modularized components for templating. The team facilitated the addition of payment processor with very minimal programming facilitating future changes in the formats with ease while also assisting the client to certify with each payment processor. The team also moved forward to test and execute the developed solution meetingt the clients goal and objectives.
