Mobile Application for Streamlined Asset Management
This project is for a leading asset management company based out of France with clients across education, healthcare, hospitality, real estate etc. With the need to repond to the increasing demand for digitization from various key stakeholders, they created a road map to move operations to a SaaS based application, to reap benefits in the form of higher productivity and an improved bottom line.
The Challenge
The roadmap on moving to the SaaS application had boosted operations and user experience for the client, it was quite limited to the performance. The were still numerous cases where their customers complained about how painful the process of relocating/adding/updating asset/product records in bulk using the Ingenium web application. The inconveniences caused among the users had forced the client to seek our support and had reached out to Rahvita Solutions.
The Solution
The terms were agreed by Rahvita Solutions and the Client on the proposal to develop a mobile application that would replicate all the features and functionalities of their Web Platform. The mobile application will come in handy for mutli tasking and performing bulk operations.
The following is the compilation of the changes and implementations executed by the Rahvita’s team.
- An iOS/Android Mobile application which will include barcode scanning
- The application will also include a multi-tenant token-based API to help the clients customers to access the application via login.
- The application will have each transaction encrypted and secured through TTL/SSL.
- We also created functionalities for all transactions stored in the databases with relevant details through a secured web API.
The Outcome
The user response to the Android and iOS mobile applications for the bulk assets/products processing was enormous.
