I’m curious as to why this is called FMXRTL 2.0.14, is there a new version of it? In Delphi 10.2 Tokyo I have tried it already, so I guess it is supposed to be included in next release of Delphi version or something else? But my customer need this update in next version of App and he can’t wait. Because our next version is Delphi 10.3 Tokyo. I suggest to use an older version of FMXRTL for 10.2.3 and fix it before next Delphi version?
I’m curious about your solution. What I understood from your thread is that you have decided to set the locale of your Android app to ar-EG. You have translated all your string resource to ar-EG based on your experience and you managed to find the English version of FMXRTL 2.0.14 and changed it your project. However, it didn’t work. Is it possible that you might not have translated any strings to ar-EG?
I am using Delphi 10.2 Tokyo. I think it is implemented in Tokyo, which we switched to in Delphi 9, and 9.1. If my understanding of Tokyo is correct, then there are the following issues:. You have to use it with iOS at runtime. Once you have an object that is running iOS, any changes that you make to the UI can happen at any time. It can be faster, but it is unpredictable. So it is generally not used for user events, e.g., mouse clicks, as it is not guaranteed that the user event will occur at a time when you are processing it. It is used for one-off variables and messages. So once you have a message, you don’t need the message received. So if you have a message, you can process it immediately.
I can’t compile the FMXRTL library (via the FMXRTL_FPC port). It throws the following errors:… The unit FreeRTOS+v2 is not found. Attempts to compile using the FreeRTOS+v3 port fail with the error:. Project dpr-cache-debug-rtl_fmxrtl_moc_src_main.dpr uses FreeRTOS v3…. There are some issues regarding the FreeRTOS-v3 port. It seems to be in the experimental phase still. I guess we will have to wait for the creators to get it fully working before we start using it in the RTL library.
