The full version of the Berlin Woodwinds library comes with 71 individual instruments and over 1,200 patches. Most of the patches have a notable amount of articulation to sculpt your tones and will appeal to the most seasoned patch writers in the business. Meanwhile, the new Custom Properties tool allows composers to set attributes to specific staves or even entire patches. The Patch Saver feature stores the patches and manages the importing of the patches with ease. For example, even though the library comes with live performance presets for the viola, the violin, violin 2, cello, cello 2, and violoncello, composers can simply save these as a zip file to manage the importing of these later on. In addition, the library contains over 16 GB of patches plus some additional extra instruments. With so many instruments, it will take you some time to experiment and start crafting your perfect set up. For seasoned users though, this is a small price to pay for the convenience.
