anyway, i loved dewott from the very start. the fact that it looks like a very soft and cuddly plush toy made its appeal even more irresistible. it also had a great design for a water type. i mean, its 2nd appearance would make you think that it’s a water type, and dewott, thanks to its head pattern, is not a water type but a grass type. its also one of the few that can change its appearance via the weather. its ability to make its body change color depending on the weather (and even make it transparent if it gets wet) is something unique and very rarely seen. all in all, i love dewott.
genny: i’m in favor of a stronger male starter, but the thing is when ash decided to use the water type, he didn’t really know what it was.. he just knew that he thought it was cool. he got a water type, and as it evolved, he just kept evolving, giving it various abilities. so in my mind, ash’s dewott, or should i say dewy, is still stuck in its original design, because ash never really cared about it. water dewy has been through several evolutions and has been given abilities that make it a lot stronger than before. that said, water dewy is still water dewy, and it doesn’t really look like it has that much more potential for a strong design. i think ash didn’t even realize how strong a starter he had. (but, it’s really not that bad because i still love it, and they still make good partners).
anyway back to charizard. i think excadrill is amazing and i know it’s not perfect, but it’s easy to like. it’s like the right dose of badass in poketmon and it’s the only one that really feels like a real badass. it’s not trying to be cute or anything, it’s just a badass with a badass attitude. it’s really good. it’s awesome. i think they can do with plants vs zombies 2 what they did with charizard, which is make a better, cooler charizard by adding new moves to make it a slightly more powerful version. i really hope they go for that, because excadrill is awesome and i’d love to see more of it.
