A Tale of Two Kingdoms is a 1.3:1, text-adventure/action-RPG-murder-mystery game set in the Celtic worlds of medieval Wales and ancient Ireland. It blends wit, humour, sensuality, sorcery and violence with a tone that mixes homage to the British literary tradition with a pan-Celtic flavour, informed by Arthurian legend, the Celtic Yuletide tale of The Banshees, and Celtic mythology.
The game has a text-adventure tone and acts as a quest/murder mystery game. The protagonist, Sientar, is a bard in medieval Wales who travels to the druidic forests of Ireland to perform a sacred service to the King of the fairies, Morholt. He is put under attack when he fails to return in time for the coronation ceremony, and must investigate what happened to him, and what went wrong in Ireland.
A Tale of Two Soundtracks is a music-driven add-on for the game. It includes the entire OST, as 37 unique compositions, each narrated by the corresponding character. Over an hour of quality music, ranging from orchestral to piano, Celtic instruments and choir.
